Hamlet

Stare, stare into the single mind

Groping in thought about the universe

Like Hamlet, isolated in a vast darkness

Where nothing is known for certain

About life, the situation, who is who, what to do,

What is the predicament. Who made it so,

And what is just, right, or noble - and does it matter?

Who decides what is right to do?

What is the model, and who judges according to it?

And finally, what is there after all this thinking and agony

ls over: what is non-existence in the blackness,

And does it matter, at all?
